Barcelona Food Guide For Backpackers, Nomads, Solo-Travelers & Explorers

I know that sometimes when you travel, the type of food spot you visit will change. Speaking from experience, as a solo-traveller I tend to avoid big restaurants. However, as a group backpacker I would welcome them. That’s why I wanted to create a condensed food list on places you must try in BCN, no matter what your travel style is. I have pretty much a local’s knowledge on the city so wanted to put my insight to good use! Save this post and keep it for your future travels. *Disclaimer, this post is NOT sponsored

La Coqueta for Catalan Food

Caldeni for Meat-Eaters

Disfrutar for Fine-Dining

Gata Mala for Tapas

Copasetic for Casual Lunch

Conesa Entrepans for Snacks

Ziqi for Sushi & Anime Interior

Chivuo’s for Street-Food

Picnic for Brunch

Windsor for Date-Night

Koy Shunka for Michelin Star

Rasoterra for Veggies & Vegans

Messie Sin Gluten for Pizza. *This site is fully GF so don’t worry about cross-contamination!

Amiette for Bakery Goods.* This site is also a fully GF location.

Have you visited any of these? Let me know in the comments, alternatively let me know if you have another suggestion that isn’t on the list!

See you in the next post!

P.S I wrote a post on food spots only a local will know about in the city, I’ll link it here: 5 Food Spots In Barcelona Only Locals Will Tell You About…..

Have never been to BCN but would love to go one day. When my husband and I were in Italy for our honeymoon, our number one rule was to ask the hotel staff or wherever we were staying about the best local spots to dine at. Never disappointed us! 🙂
